LOUIS DE GAMA A/W 20 - REBORN
Louis de Gama is relaunching. It has been 8 years since Louis has shown a collection for the fashion industry whilst he embarked on other life challenges. A new design approach entirely based on sustainability and one-off garments constitutes Louis’s approach to his new business. The collection is predominantly handmade and features a range of bohemian tunic dresses, anchored by a gladiator bib made from recycled upholstery materials. Natural hand dyed organic silks and cottons form the body of the dresses which feature hand sewn vintage lace doilies in a patchwork fashion. The fabrics are ruched, smocked, draped and gathered to achieve volume, texture and movement. The silhouette is floaty romantic and the colour palette in tulip red, forest green, pale pink, nude beige, soft grey and black.
The collection is designed organically, spontaneously and cannot be replicated.
