> Designer Dylan Joel SS21 collection blinds us with a sense of nostalgia. Tapping into the sounds and visuals of the nineties, Dylan Joel found inspiration in the light-hearted animations films by Studio Ghibli, bringing the stories to life in exaggerated shapes from flares made entirely from second-hand fabrics to his signature visors dipped into an abundance of preciosa crystals, provided by the incredilbe Crystal Parade
DYLAN JOEL SS21 COLLECTION
About the collection
Delving deeper into the quintessential sounds of the era, the use of denim and the relaxed fits of the oversized jumpers can be ascribed to a mix of the Spice Girls and Grunge music. This marriage results in a unique selection of highly stylised denim pieces, detailed with hand-painted graphics. Contributing to demand for conscious fashion, all denim used was sourced from charity and vintage shops, breathing the new into disregarded clothing.
With his SS21 collection, the Scottish designer takes a greener yet by no means less glamorous turn, following the mantra reduce, reuse, recycled, and add razzle-dazzle.
Collection available for loan and custom pieces, soon for sale on www.dylanjoelstudio.com
